Part 2-The Grass Is Always Greener In Someone Else's Life

Yes it is true. If we are tall we want to be short and visa versa. If we have Large breasts we want small and visa versa. We always want something different whether it be in our physical makeup or what we possess. No matter how satisfied I am with my life, a little pang of envy hits me now and then.

Another "while I was growing up" story. While I was growing up with 4 sisters, I wanted to dress like my friends. Though we did go shopping for school clothes, the majority of our clothes were creations by my mother. Even though she worked full time, she sewed alot. It isn't easy to keep 5 growing girls in fashion. My mother was an excellent seamstress. She added her own touch and designing skills to our clothes. I didn't appreciate her skills to the depth my friends did. I wanted to borrow my friends clothes but the surprise to me was that they wanted mine. My friends wanted to borrow mine because they were different-original. Later in life I realized how special it was to have "designer,original" clothes.
