Pursuance Of Purpose-part 2

Spontaneity is a must in my life. I love to do something to break up my routine. It can also bite me when it takes over. I need to have a routine to balance my responsibilities. If we live all our days doing things spontaneously it stops being spontaneous.

Then we realize we have lost sight of our purpose and feel ourselves spiralling in circles going no-where. It seems a bit contradictory but spontaneity needs to be balanced with a purpose.

Having a job,career,or responsibilities to meet is what gives us a desire to dream for change or something better. When we no longer have those things to drive us it is easy to start feeling lost. It happens to everyone at some point. A mother spends years actively involved in raising a family , and then what ? Another person has to resign from a long term career due to unexpected disabilities and find work that is more suitable to continue. Maybe you're retiring or moving to a different area. Starting over can be an adventure or it can leave you confused and lacking purpose.

While I am floating in the oblivion of lost purpose and seeking a new direction in life, I find purpose in attempting to inspire. When you feel uninspired, attempt to inspire. It isn't like climbing a mountain . It can be small things like noticing the uniqueness about people you meet in everyday life and letting them know they stand out. Maybe it is just listening to someone in a way that they know you are really listening. Or encouraging someone they can do that thing they are struggling with. Be open for opportunities to inspire and you will find your inspiration. Purpose will follow.
